Journal page for Eileen

Over the past few weeks I have been working on a journal page for Eileen (Eileen's blog) for our I Dream In Colours journal group.   Thankfully before Eileen left on her cruise with Tim Holtz, I was told I only needed to do one page as this would complete her journal. Eileen's page size was 8.5" *11.5" landscape.  This is a size I find challenging.  But I did enjoy doing this page and triedt o stick to Eileen's colour choices of Blue and Green.

Front cover of Journal

Wow, finally, it is done. My fromt cover for the I Dream in Colours jounal. I took this with me to the Scrapbook Expo hoping to find the right white font. And after showing it to a couple of people and going back today I found it. I was excited. This is ready to go to Lee on Tuesday.

I did show it again to one of the ladies I was talkin to yesterday and mentioned that I found it. The tutor knew what I needed and when I showed her the completed cover was asked what font. So great minds do think alike.

I hope everyone enjoys working on this as much I as I have and I look forward to seeing the completed Journal in about 14 months time.

Yet another circle Journal....

But I sure love doing them. This one is for the I DREAM IN COLOURS journal group. I am one of 14 talented artists participating from Australia, Canada and the USA.

This journal is based on the Stampington Publication True Colours which features journals from Teesha Moore, Claudine Hellmuth, Lisa Hoffman just to name a few.

We all chose our colour combinations and we all have to use these colours for the jounrals.

I chose Red Black and White. I am wishing there was a 4th colour, but I feel that the end result will be stunning.

I am running late with this. But I have to post to someone in Gladstone, QLD so mail only takes about 3 days on a good week.

After weeks of procrastination and letting my journal just sit on my desk and adding pieces when needed and just letting it sit there before I adhere it worked. I am loving what I did. I was trying to get it looking less scrap-booky, but I am very pleased with the end result. I am waiting for the Dimensional magic to dry and once that is done, I will add the photo tomorrow.

Take care
