Dolphin Rider ATC

After a hectic week and getting christmas pressies posted to New Zealand and thankfully I have just one to go. I decided to focus on my swap that is due for the Advanced ATC group in the UK. One of the themes I chose was dolphin rider. The image on the bottlenose dolphin is actuallymy daughter Claire. I found a photo of her in the pool with her dad and after cutting him out and flipping the image it was perfect. The background is blue lumiere paint on a USPS Global Prioity envelope which I think is made from Tyvek. It melted quite well. Just added a bit of kindy glitz and dimensional magic at the bottom. Now onto the the other cards.

After asking for some feedback on the card as I knew it was not quite finished, I added some seed beads and the white fibre through the top right eyelet. Although words were suggested, I have heaps of trouble deciding on the right words. I just don't have the ability to say the right thing. And that happens in IRL too.

Christmas Stocking

Here is a little christmas stocking that I put together in about five days. There are a few things I would change like the size. You can't fit much into this one but I love the simplicity of it.

I did a layout............

This is one of my favourite photos that I have taken of Claire this year. I just love the way the sun has caught her face. I took this photo in August at the local park. I even have a couple of photos of Katherine climbing the web so will have to put them in a layout.

I spent a few hours at Tanya's on Saturday night and I managed to get a few layouts done and a couple just have a few more things to add but I am happy that I finally did scrapbooking.
After Looking through all of the photos that I have I can see that in 2009 I will be putting together the girls albums. There is more than enough photos for that.

Once I get the other two layouts completed I will up load those too.

Another one bites the dust.....

I have finally finished the card due this Friday for the monthly theme at the Scrapbook Cupboard. This months theme is Quotes so I decided to go with a Wise man theory and love the way this turned out. I like it's simplicity and that it is so true. Just have a few more cards this week to do that are due in the USA by the end of the month and a set to England too. Ummm time to think a bit more out of my comfort zone.

I have done more sewing and an OTP project but these can't be added yet as they are for a swap in the USA.

For something a little different again

Over the past two weeks I have managed to complete little projects. These are all for a swap and relatively easy to do. I love my OTP project that is held by Claire. I have enough here to make another one. I have made no ATC's of late and have four to do for different swaps that I am in so that could be what I do tonight as Katie has a friend here for a sleep over.
