Clown ATC

Hi All
The theme for April's ATC group through the Scrapbook Cupboard was Clowns. Last month was Ancient Civilisations. It was like jumping back 2000+ years and then quickly jumping forward again. I do wonder what we will be doing for the next one.

I found this image on Google and loved it. It was everything that we don't expect from a Clown. I was worried about handing this one in. But had nothing to fear, it was loved.

Reflection ATC

Hi All

The theme set for this month for The Scrapbook Cupboard's www.scrapbookcupboard.com.au monthly swap was reflection. I swear the themes are getting challenging. But it took me a while to decide on this one. I started of with mirrors and changed my mind, then I thought candles and reflect that way as we lost a family member at the end of January. While I was out shopping at a craft store yesterday I came across this quote on a stamp and this was it. This ATC is titled Reflection (of a caterpillar). This came together quite quickly as I painted the chipboard, used my success stamp and brown stazon for the background words, used my friend Google Images for the images and the words from the stamp. The words are Just when the caterpillar thought hte world was over, it became a beautiful butterfly. - Anonymous. This is one of my favourites so far.
Hope you all like it. The girls in the swap are looking forward to this one from me.

Till Next Tim

Zodiac Theme ATC

Welcome to 2009 and the first ATC swap for the Scrapbook Cupboard. The theme for January was Zodiac. Boy did I find this challenging. I was literally stumped on what to do and even after looking at google I was no closer to where I wanted to be. The thought of taking photo of my Zodiac branded automatic pool cleaner crossed my mind but at the same time, there would be one or two in the group who would not like the funny side of it.

At the end of it all I ended up going with Neptune, the planetary Ruler of Pisces (my star sign) in modern Astrology. I am happy with the outcome and rally hope the next theme is not as challenging.

Till next time.
