Ok, this is the weekend I look forward too for at least half a year. June long weekend, the scrapbook and papercraft expo comes to Brisbane.
From about March (ok, my birthday to be precise) I start to stalk the website to see what classes are being offered.
This year well known Byron Bay artist Jane Davenport was running a class. Soon as bookings went live I delegated the booking of my classes to hubby (I was working and couldn't get to a computer).
Sunday 9 June aas the day. Here is what I completed.
All I have to figure out now, is how to rotate the photos, I finally have them in order.
I loved this class, and happy to have a completed product. Now to work out how to add journal pages.

Step one, cover journal with serviettes, try not to fall in Love. I DOD!

Step two, add stencil face, neck and explosive hair. I can do faces if I have a stencil.

Step three, add gesso around areas that are not face, body or hair

Step Four, add skin and eyes. Now this does not look good. HElP!

Step 5, with a little help from Jane, she was saved...

Lovely, Sarah! I'm guessing serviettes are paper napkins, right?
