I just spent the weekend at a craft retreat and had a blast. Even took my oh so lovely Elmo PJ's and found two of the girls hairties and hey presto my hair is in pigtails and that hasn't happened for such a long time. This was a great weekend that started off with lunch with friends as Libby has now moved to Mackay with her family and baby bump. The laughs that I had were surely needed that day. It had not been the best morning that is for sure.
I was however, very creative. I finished my Music ATC's for the Scrapbook Cupboard swap which is a few days late. I did my All Around the World Swap China for the ATC World swap. Will be posting tomorrow, lets hope they make it in time, and I even got started on the colour challenge charcoal and orange. I just need to find 5 more of the single orange flower for the last 5 cards. I still have to add a title which will most likely be flower garden.
I completed three layouts featuring my two favourite subjects. My girls. And I have three more that are awaiting a title and journalling so I will need to get out the cricut for that. One of these is a slight alteration to the 8*8 I did for Mum and Dad. I decided that I needed to do one for me and make it bigger and slightly different. This photo of Katherine has to be one of my favourites at the moment and I am still surprised at the quality of the photo as it was taken with my phone.
